If the Titanic were sinking today, it seems like the leaders of our community would take all the life rafts, and leave us on the sinking hulk. This is a problem. Don’t you think?
There has been a sea change in point of view about the value of work and people who work the world over, and it has been so incremental that many didn’t notice it happening on a wide scale until we reached this crisis point double-recession. A lot of us thought it was just happening to us. We took it personally. We felt obsolete, unnecessary and increasingly marginal. That needs to stop.
Future of Work Now is a way for individuals to address this new paradigm and begin to shift it for ourselves first, and then for the people we come into contact with through our work. The aim is to create a sustainable future for ourselves and our children through our innate value.
Learn to see yourself in a light of esteem, to reboot the approach for sharing your gifts, and to discern the emerging culture of diversity and productivity that you can reasonably participate in. This comes down to a very simple concept - the way to be paid and rewarded for your efforts in a way that will create enduring work for years to come. This workshop is about laying a foundation for the future.
There will be a 2-hour, bring-your-own working lunch at The Vault
