717 6th Street NW
Washington, District of Columbia Washington

DC has had 3 opportunities to get to know FUSION @ RNR Bar and Lounge, and I think it's pretty clear to anyone that's come by in the last
month, that there's something to this great venue in China Town. We've been pleased to hear and read great reviews and feedback from people in the DC scene that have supported our lower key "tuner" events, so, frankly, we are as excited to blow it up proper for our Grand Opening as we hope you are to attend.

The 7th will feature 3 floors of music, 2 of which are booked and promoted personally by District Ignition, so we'll have both DnB AND House under the same roof--back in DC...on a SATURDAY! If you have any questions or require clarification on any information posted here, please feel free to respond to this DC Raves thread or email Jason Ramsey directly @ ramz@districtignition.com. Without further ado, your
details...

JJ FLORES
//// Menage Music / Chicago ////

JJ Flores (a producer, remixer, writer, engineer & DJ with a very diverse background) started as a basement DJ at the age of 17. When he produced his first record "Forever Amor", JJ found an outlet to release the track through Chicago's DJ International Records. In turn, the single was quickly signed by Atlantic Records and immediately landed on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. With his first release such a success, Flores was quickly recognized by ID Records' CEO, Frank Rodrigo. This home to Grammy-nominated remixers Steve Silk Hurley, Maurice Joshua and E-Smoove jumped at the opportunity to sign JJ before transforming into SOS Records. During his time with SOS, Flores co-established 20 Fingers, a production team that consisted of Charlie Babie and Manny Mohr. His production/writing & discovering of SOS recording artists Max-A-Million ("Hey Fat Boy"), Gillette ("Short Dick Man"), and Roula ("Lick It") earned multiple gold and platinum awards around the globe. Through his time at SOS, JJ began working on remix projects for high-profile talent stretching from Electronic-House to Hip-Hop. His production work has been utilized for radio and club remixes by many mainstream artists including Vanessa Williams, PM Dawn, Christina Milian & NSYNC.

DJ BAM BAM
//// Bass Heavy Music / _ FADEDMUSIK / Chicago ////

Emerging on the international electronic scene at the early age of 18, Bam Bam immediately began setting the pace for Techno and Hard House producers throughout the US and Europe. In 1997 Chicago-based label, UC Music, signed Bam Bam to an exclusive contract enabling him to release five fully licensed CD mix compilations including House Blend 3 & 4 and Da Hard Beats 1 & 2. While putting his name on numerous vinyl releases, exclusive remix projects, and working with high profile artists like Bad Boy Bill and Frankie Bones; Bam Bam became a strong accessory to the stronghold UC Music had in the late 90's. With fellow UC artist Alex Peace, this turntablist set out to create the most aggressive 4 turntable act in music history and 420 was born. With countless tracks and live performances reverberating across the world, 420 is still in high demand and can be found electrifying crowds throughout the world to this day.
