FUSION: An explosive collision of artistic energies
The College of the Arts at CSULB come together for the first time to present an explosive evening of entertainment in Fusion.
On Saturday, March 22nd, Students from each division of the College of the Arts will showcase their talents in Art, Graphic Design, Dance, Music, Film, and Theatre throughout the evening.
Producer and creator of Fusion, Patricia Garza, a third year MFA/MBA graduate student in the Theatre Arts Department, hopes to see the event inspire collaboration and unity between the disparate departments of the College of the Arts and the downtown community.
The mission of Fusion is to promote partnerships between art students and foster the nascent coalition of artists on campus with those off-campus.
Come, be part of this new event and help start the movement to bring Cal State arts to Downtown Long Beach.
Fusion is March 22, 2008 on Smooth's Sports Grille's rooftop at 144 Pine Ave. in Downtown Long Beach.
Parking is available with two hour validation at: Quality Parking on Broadway east of Pine Avenue. Art will be on display starting at 6 P.M. with performances beginning at 7 P.M. and a D.J. at 10 P.M.
