Funny Speech and Improv Contest: the TORCH Humorous Speech Event August 20, 2009

What's so funny about a bunch of people giving speeches? Once you've seen Lorraine Treadwell speak you'll know!

The TORCH Toastmasters Club offers a great opportunity to improve your public speaking. August 20 features an added bonus: a humorous speech and table topics contest!

Humorous speech is a 5-7 minute schtick. Table Topics is like improv without the props.

The Event is FREE and open to all to attend. Only Toastmasters can perform (sorry -- but you can join on the spot if you're inspired!). And, you can definitely have fun.

This is a great way to learn about Toastmasters (and get some Free Refreshments!).
