As part of its 30th Anniversary festivities, the Mission Cultural Center will be holding its first Fundraising Art Sale and Exhibition at the center’s galleries. The Art Exhibition runs from Fri, July 20 thru Sat, August 25th. The public will have a chance to browse all month and begin to romance what art piece to buy.
Over 50 Bay Area artists, largely Latino, ages 20-80, spanning three generations, from a dozen different countries will be contributing to the 30th Anniversary celebration. They will represent both emerging and mid career artists who have passed through the doors of the MCCLA. Pieces of art will range from $15 - $5000 and will benefit the continuation of the Center’s educational programming and cultural and artistic events. The artists will donate between 80 and 100% of the proceeds of sales to the MCCLA.
The Art Sale itself will take place on Saturday, August 25th from 11am-5pm with local musicians and refreshments.
