College and a dear friend to Grassroots Leadership.

Meet Executive Director Si Kahn and staff member Monica Simpson,
Grassroots Fundraising Coordinator and our first Development Director of

don’t want to miss!

ABOUT GRASSROOTS LEADERSHIP

Founded by Si Kahn, renown folk singer & activist, in 1980, Grassroots
Leadership is a southern-based national organization that seeks to
defend democracy, to enhance the public good and to stop the erosion of
the public sphere. It works to accomplish this goal through a
combination of research, issue advocacy, public education and direct
action organizing. Since 1999, Grassroots Leadership has worked to
abolish all for-profit private prisons, jails and detention centers, as
a step towards establishing a prison and criminal justice system that is
truly humane and just.

A request will be made for tax-deductible contributions to support
Grassroots Leadership’s ongoing work
