Fundraiser: Five Borough Bike Tour with Urban Girl Squad for Only Make Believe May 1, 2011

Are you up for a challenge? Join Urban Girl Squad (http://urbangirlsquad.com/site/event_display.php?id=168) as we team up with Only Make Believe (http://www.onlymakebelieve.org/) for Bike New York's TD Bank Five Borough Bike Tour (http://www.bikenewyork.org/rides/fbbt/index.html). Yes, it's sold out, but we have a way in! You can be one of the 30,000 cyclists who experience New York City while peddling 42 miles of car-free streets through all five boroughs of Manhattan. And when you ride with us for charity, you'll also ride with actor Josh Lucas!

You'll tour all boroughs of Manhattan by bike, starting in Lower Manhattan and ending in Staten Island. You'll be able to stop at rest areas when needed, which will have complimentary snacks/water to keep you going, and get breakfast before the tour and lunch afterward. At the end of the ride, there will be a finale festival with giveaways, food stands, product samples, stretching, massages, and more.

If you don't own a bike, we've got you covered. Bike and Roll NYC is offering a hassle-free rental package, including delivery and pickup.

There are only 15 spots for Urban Girl Squad cyclists. Each rider must raise a minimum of $1,000 to benefit Only Make Believe: a nonprofit group that provides interactive theatrical performances to chronically ill and disabled children. Now, $1,000 might seem like a lot, but the Urban Girl Squad team and Only Make Believe can help you meet your goal.
