East Hampshire District Council has organised a short seminar for rural businesses and the farming community.
The seminar will look at funding opportunities to help them grow their businesses in this difficult economic climate. One funding stream that will be discussed is the new Leader funding.
Following EHDC's recent successful bid, in partnership with Winchester City Council, farmers, foresters, growers and rural businesses are able to apply for a share of the £2 million Leader funding through grants of up to £50,000.
The event will tell you more about the programme and the types of projects that will be considered and businesses that are eligible. £400k of this funding needs to be spent in the next 12 months.
