Full Moon Equinox Paddle September 22, 2010

It is the night before the autumnal equinox, and the moon will be full and bright to light our canoe paddle on the river. Don't miss discovering the magic of an autumn evening on the Ipswich River! Sign up as a single or a couple for what is truly a unique experience on the water. We'll watch for wood ducks and herons flying into Bunker Meadows for the night and bats flitting above the water catching insects. We might even get a tail slap from a beaver passing by. As the sun sets, we will listen for owls and experience the sounds of the nocturnal river habitat. We will stop on one of the river islands to enjoy a campfire and snacks. Registration is required.
