FTC Fundraiser: the Big Holiday Broadcast of 1959 December 14, 2010

Raise a glass and toast the season with FTC. Tickets include special pre-show cocktails (the Grinch Cosmopolitan) and post-show reception with drinks and light fare. The year is 1959. It's Christmas Eve at Radio Station WBBY, and the final broadcast before TV comes in and everyone loses their job. Will Felix, the intrepid bandleader go on to a new TV career? Will Alice, the aging Broadway diva full of too much holiday "spirits," make it in time for her guest appearance? Will Santa save the day? Tony-award winning actress/singer Joanna Gleason (Into the Woods) has written a rollicking comedy with a holiday sing-a-long that with will put you in the Christmas and Hanukkah spirit. The cast includes Chris Sarandon, Keir Dullea, Jim Noble and members of NYC's Gay Men's Chorus. Directed by Mia Dillon. Audience participation is strongly encouraged.
