Enjoy a celebratory afternoon of wine and gourmet culinary
tastings from the Old World while supporting the BBSO in
their 36th season.
On April 17, 2011, the Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra (BBSO) will celebrate the end of its 36th season with an event titled From the Old World. The event will also honor Chairman of the Board, Richard Tropea, and his 20 years of service to the BBSO. The Benefit will take place at Scavolini by Cucina Moda from 4:00 – 6:00 pm. Tickets are $75 per person and each includes a concert ticket to the From the New World concert, which takes place at 7:00 at Birmingham Groves High School Auditorium, following the benefit.
Now in its 36th season, the BBSO has been voted one of the best orchestras in all of Michigan. Under the direction of conductor Charles Greenwell, the BBSO is committed to bringing the community exceptional classical and pops concerts at affordable prices.
