From River Bottom to High Plateau October 18, 2009

Standing by the picnic pavilions and looking at Pikes Peak across a vast expanse of countryside, it is hard to image that you are on an ancient river bottom.Volunteer Naturalist and geologist Peter Laux will guide you on a 4 mile tour of colorful rocks along Inner Canyon and Rimrock Trails that tell the story of how they got there and what is happening now in the canyon.
