"... The Australian Great War Association supported by Mont de Lancey Historic Homestead invites you to a living history event focusing on Australia's involvement in the Great War.

The day will feature demonstrations and extensive displays by dedicated living historians covering many different aspects of our participation in the First World War. Meet the re-enactors living in a historical encampment, take the opportunity to explore many of the everyday aspects of a soldier's life, his uniform, equipment and food. Demonstrations will cover aspects including discipline, drill, medical services, food, the use of gas and machine guns. The highlight will be a display showcasing tactics used by Australians late in the war. ..."
