Norwegian accordionist Frode Haltli is a brilliant interpreter of both contemporary and traditional Scandinavian music. His astonishing virtuosity has inspired many composers, and his kaleidoscopic improvisations that draw upon the Norwegian folk tradition "explore the furthest sonic regions of the instrument" (BBC Music Magazine).
