Frivlous's live set is not something to miss with tricks up his sleeve like his electric knife, his broken ruler music box, his telephone microphone and his ever present trademark rose. Classic instruments, home-made inventions and vocals are incorporated into his techno/house which experiments with glitchy cut-up funk, musique actuelle and found sound. His third album comes soon on ~scape (his second on that imprint) and further explores quirky jazz and soul through the minimal beats which have surrounded him since his move to Berlin.

Eats Tapes (Tigerbeat 6) LIVE!
This acid tinged indy techno duo from SF will tweak and twiddle their sea of gear and wires covering a good sprawl of table. Greg and Marijke have albums on used-to-be local label Tigerbeat 6 which perfectly describes San Francisco's unique way of bridging a dirty DIY aesthetic to the sometimes cold and serious world of electronic music.

Safety Scissors (EGGS, ~scape, Proptronix) DJ set
Besides a 3 year stint in Berlin, Matthew Patterson Curry has been part of the San Francisco electronic scene since '99 with releases on many German and stateside labels, ranging from techno to dork-pop. He used to be half of the EGGS crew which brought you both of the live acts in events of yesteryear.
Alland Byallo (Nightlife Music, KONTROL, Liebe Detail) DJ set
Alland has helped establish the techno realm in SF as one of the residents of the KONTROL party at The Endup and also releases his own music on various techno labels in the US and in Europe.
