Frisbee: The Life and Death of a Hippee Preacher is an independent documentary film looking at the life of a key leader in the 1960's counter-culture "Jesus People" movement. Lonnie Frisbee was later rejected by many in the movement because of his secret struggle with homosexuality and he eventually died of AIDS in 1993.
Canadian director David Di Sabatino will take questions on the film and its' content after the showing.
All are welcome to attend this free event, and donations will be accepted to help fight HIV/AIDS in Edmonton. The event is sponsored by Urban Bridge Church, who also meets at the Museum Theatre every Sunday morning at 10 AM.
