The yearly plant sale by the members of the Friends of the Cambridge Library is almost upon us. If you have not attended the sale in the past, now is the time to go. There are local plants from local gardens so you can be sure that everything will be flourishing. There will be local gardening experts and a master gardener assisting you with selections for your particuliar garden needs. Also, a local inventor demonstrating a wonderful new gardening tool that will be sold at a discounted price. There will be pots from local potters for sale and with our reputation for potters, they will be fantastic. You will not believe the reasonable prices of the plants and all of this will raise funds for the wonderful Cambridge Library, some of which will go to services and some which will go to the building fund.
If you are wondering how you can assist with the event? The library is taking plant donations, gardening books, pamphlets, or catalogs, extra garden tools, or pots.
A local, nationally known designer has donated a fabric, plant oriented, wall hanging as a door price. For every $5 you spend at the sale, you have an opportunity to enter a drawing and possibly win this beautiful home decor piece with a gallery value of $450.
