Fried Chicken and Latkes is Rain Pryor's award winning solo show based on her life. Pryor tells the story of growing up Black and Jewish through the characters of her iconic father, Richard Pryor, her Jewish Go-Go dancing mother, her yenta maternal grandmother, her brothel living paternal great grandmother, and her ghetto fabulous friend Wanita.
