On Friday, April 25, the de Young Museum presents an evening filled with cultural performances and activities. Celebrate the residency of performance poet and April Artist-in-Residence Rosanna Raymond as her exhibition Pasifika Style comes to a close, reception in the Kimball Education Gallery, 6–8 pm. Groove to the sounds of Kapalakiko (Hawaiian for “San Francisco”), a Hawaiian band that uses their music and dance to educate audiences about Hawaiian culture, in Wilsey Court this Friday, 6:30–8:30 pm. In the art activity on April 25, visitors can create Oceanic-motif watercolors. There are docent tours of Gilbert & George each Friday at 7 pm, and dinner and drinks are available in the de Young Café.

Regular gallery admission prices apply on Friday nights. Admission includes access to all festivities including live music and interactive art projects.
