Da Hot Club O’ Flatbush was inspired by the Parisian acoustic jazz bands of the 1930s. While its instrumentation (violin, accordion, acoustic guitar and bass) has a distinctly continental sonic texture, the repertoire of the Hot Club is as diverse as Brooklyn itself. The technical mastery of its performers allows the group to to slide gracefully from a burning Basie stomp to a slow Texas waltz without skipping a beat. Now fronted by incredible jazz vocalist Gretchen Goodner, Da Hot Club 'O Flatbush is sure to please any musical palate.
