A self-indulgent photographer (Hemmings) in 1960s, swinging, mod London believes he has witnessed a murder because of a discovery he’s made in a series of his photographs. This is a provocative film that suggests the ephemeral nature of the material world. Antonioni’s masterpiece is emblematic of the “times that were a changin’” and is almost a nostalgia piece now with fantastic locations, fashions, and The Yardbirds, with Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, in performance.
