Freret Market - 1 Year Anniversary Market October 4, 2008

We are pulling out all the stops for our 1 year anniversary market and block party. We have over 100 vendors. Freret Street from Napoleon to Valence will be blocked to vehicular traffic and the vendors will be set up on both sides of the street in those 3 blocks.
I believe this is our best musical line up yet. We have 2 stages with Bill Summer's Yourba Orchestra, Washboard Chaz Blues Trio, Los PoBoyCitos, Billy Iuso & The Restless Natives, Gal Holiday & the Honky Tonk Revue and Johnny Sketch & the Dirty Notes playing throughout the day. We will also have our very popular pet adoption area.
Abita beer will be pouring from 2 beer trucks and the Big Easy Rollergirls will be cruising the street.
