French Wine Class in French February 27, 2008

This event allows you to pursue two goals: fine tune your knowledge of French wines (and foods) as well as practice French.

You will learn a tremendous amount about the different wine regions of France, the appellation system, the grapes and wine making techniques. We will taste 8 french wines along with a selection of French cheeses. The tasting is followed by a plate of French appetizers to finish the bottles.

You will receive the course document with all the information presented in French and English. The class instructor is Laurent Guinand, Ph.D. the president of GiraMondo Wine Adventures. Laurent has been working in the wine industry since 1991 and is a Professor at the Bordeaux International Wine Institute. He is a member of the society of Wine Educators and the American Association of Wine Economists.
