“We wanted to thank our listeners for their loyal support for the past two years,” said station DJ Malderor (also of Bootie SF), “and our friends at Speakeasy stepped up to help us do it. All of us at Radio Valencia welcome everybody to join the celebration, enjoy some beers, check out the bands, and see how local radio gets made.”

Local independent internet radio station Radio Valencia will host a free Listener Appreciation Party at the Speakeasy Ales & Lagers Brewery from noon to 6pm on Saturday, March 30, 2013.

The party will feature live bands, cheap beer and food trucks, and the entire event will be broadcast live on Radio Valencia by their own celebrity DJs. Bands include: Sweat Lodge (“Pow-Wow Punk”), Maurice Tani (from 77 El Deora), and The Atom Age (East Bay melodic-punk with horns).
