KC Turner is the pure singer/songwriter, offering heartfelt songs with a touch of humor. He is probably better-known as San Francisco’s premier promoter of top-flight national and local musicians, at house concerts and at some of the most prominent venues in the Bay Area. John Craigie says “If you don't know the name KC Turner, you don't know the Bay Area music scene."

Obstacle Course is the songwriting project of recording engineer Ryan Clark. A rhythmic, percussive, light at the end of the tunnel that started as an acoustic solo project. Now energized by Dustin's beats it tastes more like rock n roll every day.

Pieces is the reincarnation of San Francisco singer/songwriter Courtney Nicole.

Host Alex Jimenez has been playing music since his parents bought him his first guitar when he was 12. His music has dark acoustic overtones, heavy on the rhythm, and influenced by bands such as Blue Movie, Ride and Live. But you can also hear the country and folk influences in his playing. It’s this blend of styles, beautiful guitar melodies and pounding rhythms that give his music a unique yet familiar sound.

Alex is honored to be a part of a thriving songwriter community here in the Bay Area, and is honored to share the stage with them monthly, through the Usual Suspects Songwriter Showcase.
