Free Yarn-Spinning Demonstration January 15, 2011

Tigard Public Library hosts a free demonstration of yarn spinning on Saturday, Jan. 15, in the Community Room. Members of the Northwest Regional Spinners Association will transform fleece and other fibers into yarn with spinning wheels and drop spindles.

The Community Room will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for this drop-in program. Novel Needles, the Library's monthly knitting, crochet and textile-crafting get-together, will meet in the Community Room for this event.
