The Adapt Foundation works with and for families and loved ones affected by drugs and alcohol. It is committed to the role of educating and guiding people affected by addiction. It fulfills this mission by holding free weekly Friends and Family Meetings which are open to the public. You are very welcome - please join us for one or more meetings!
The Adapt Foundation is committed to:
1. Understanding the effects of addiction on the individual, family, and community
2. Promoting the well-being of those who care about or live with someone in addiction
3. Assisting in relieving turmoil and anxiety while promoting healing by awareness of how addiction affects ourselves and our loved ones
4. Teaching those who care about someone with addiction how to take care of themselves
5. Presenting healthy ways of coping and relating in a positive environment
6. No fee is required to attend meetings
The Adapt Foundation Free Weekly Friends and Family Program Meetings:
Our free Friends and Family Program Meetings promote the well-being of those who care about or live with an addicted person. Through education and guidance, participants learn that they cannot control a loved one's addiction, but they can take responsibility for their own well-being and happiness.
