With the Major League Baseball season set to begin on March 31, the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum introduces the free Tour Guide Talk “Baseball in the Second World War” that will run Saturdays and Sundays from April 6th - 14th, from 11:00 AM – 11:15 AM & 3:00 PM – 3:15 PM aboard the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, located at Pier 86 (46th Street and 12th Avenue), Manhattan.
World War II affected every American institution including baseball, our national pastime. This interactive talk teaches visitors about how some of our greatest baseball heroes made the ultimate sacrifice for their country during the war.
This Tour Guide Talk is open to the public and free with the price of admission to the museum.
