Effort
Like Shrag (or the Sussex Heights Roving Artists Group to give them their full name), Effort are named after an arts collective, namely London's DIY arts initiative The Effort. And like Shrag, Effort whip up a fearsome racket, although in this case influenced by Pixies, Helen Shapiro, Television and PJ Harvey. Tiger & Panda
Originally from Bristol but now relocated to London, three piece Tiger & Panda play warm-hearted indie folk that sounds like it could be on Bristol's celebrated Stitch Stitch label.
