FREE TALK: How Guardian (mostly) moved from Java to Scala January 12, 2011

guardian.co.uk is largely a Java development shop. We implemented our new Content API (http://content.guardianapis.com) as our first project in Scala, starting at the beginning of 2010. Graham Tackley will talk about how we managed the transition and how we learnt scala as a team, with lots of practical examples and code samples in the January 2011 London Scala User Group meeting.
