The San Francisco Shakespeare Festival celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Free Shakespeare in the Park with a production of 'Henry V,' the exciting tale of a young king's rise and the glories and costs of war. Performances take place on the beautiful, park-like grounds of Redwood City's Sequoia High School, located at 1201 Brewster Avenue at Broadway. Shows begin August 11 and continue through August 26, 2012. Performances take place Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00p.m. No tickets or reservations are needed for these complimentary shows. Bring your family, friends, a blanket, and a picnic to enjoy professional theater at no charge!
Follow the young King Henry V as he struggles to reconcile his rowdy past with his present status on the throne. It is a tale of betrayal, friendship and intrigue, all under the dark shadow of war with France. "Once more unto the breach, dear friends ...."
