Join John Rizzo for this Skills Matter In-the-Brain session on Monday 26th November. John, the founder of JavaBlackBelt will explain the internals of the JavaBlackBelt.com platform, including the strategic technical choices made and their evolutions from inception to v3 and the main technical problems faced in making these choices.
JavaBlackBelt.com produces an interesting case study, it involves a classic Java modern architecture created by a small team, the (too) agile way. John will discuss the 2 technical refactorings in of JavaBlackBelt.com in 3 years and delve into deep technical, architecture, and project life/management aspects.
Although, JBB is very happy with the results, it was not that easy and certainly did not happen over night! John will try to provide attendees with experiences that they can apply to their current or next Java project. A brief explanation of the main technical background needed (IoC, Hibernate, JSPs, etc.) will be provided but knowledge of these technologies will definitely help understanding the more concrete technical aspects of the presentation.
Participation is free for registered participants.
