Double Bill featuring the works of Toronto native, Ted Kotcheff. The director is most well known for his works Rambo: First Blood and Weekend at Bernies. Both films were written by Mordecai Richler, who won the WGA award in 1975 for Duddy Kravitz .

Joshua Then & Now- Nominated for the Golden Palm in the 1985 Cannes Film Festival. Starring James Woods (Once Upon a Time in America, Casino) and Alan Arkin (Little Miss Sunshine, Glengarry Glen Ross). A provocative drama about a well-known novelist who becomes involved in a smutty scandal as the result of a supermarket tabloid's false accusations.

The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz- Nominated for an Academy Award in the category for best writing. This film is set in 1948 Montreal in a Jewish ghetto. A young Richard Dreyfuss (Jaws, Close Encounters of a Third Kind) gives an excellent performance as the title character who suffers through years of self-abuse in an effort to become something of substance.
