A great opportunity to hear some of the "bold new forces" in Jazz. Jenny Scheinman (vocals/violin), Tony Scherr (vocals/guitar), Tim Luntzel (bass), Kenny Wollesen (drums). No cover! Of this gig, Jenny notes:

"Tony has been a major influence and inspiration since I moved to New York in 1999. We lived across the street from each other for a bunch of years, toured together with Bill Frisell, I played on his first record, and now years later we found a deep connection in these SONGS. He is raw and wild and then has these little moments of pure grace.. what is the Lucinda line? "blood poured out from the hole in his heart over the strings of his guitar".. like that.. Tim and Kenny are the other half of the band and were born with the beat that I love. Tony will play with his band at 9 til the wee hours. This is a really wonderful place to hear music - get there at 7:45!"
