Trained volunteers offer guided tours of the night sky through the Society's telescopes at no charge. Visitors may view the Moon, planets, stars, nebula and galaxies through the massive 25 inch Obsession Dobsonian - the largest telescope available for public use in the state of Connecticut - or through WAS's 12 1/2 inch computerized Newtonian housed under the observatory dome.
