Free Program on Maintenance of Older Homes
Owners of older homes may be concerned about the
potential for costly repairs. The key to avoiding them is vigilant maintenance from the roof to the downspouts.
Sara Hobbs, of the Cleveland Restoration Society, will
give an illustrated presentation on how to avoid problems with your older home. This presentation will be at the Elyria Police Department (18 West Avenue) on
Wednesday, June 24 at 7:00 p.m. This is a FREE
program and the PUBLIC IS WELCOME.
Sara is an Associate Director of the Cleveland Restoration Society (www.clevelandrestoration.org), and a Field Representative for the National Trust for Historic Preservation Network Sponsors Free Program on Maintenance of Older Homes Preservation. She will offer many good tips for owners of homes older than 50 years. Come and learn how to find problems before they become costly and receive useful information on making repairs and increasing the energy efficiency of your home while preserving its architectural character.
