Topics will include: The role of diet and lifestyle in improving the microenvironment of the body; Myths and truths about nutrition and cancer; Using nutrition to manage some of the many potential side effects of cancer treatments; What foods to eat for improved bone health while on hormone therapy (aromatase inhibitors); What benefits, if any, do supplements provide?

Speaker: Francine Blinten, M.S., C.C.N., a Certified Clinical Nutritionist with a subspecialty in Oncology. Ms. Blinten consults with clients on disease prevention, weight loss, cholesterol management, and diabetes. Her experience is in clinical practice and research. She holds a Master’s Degree in Bionutrition from the University of Bridgeport and an MBA from Fordham University.
