The Golden Globe Awards, which debuted in 1944, were born out of the desire of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to create bridges between countries and cultures all around the world. This year's nominees for Best Foreign-Language Film Award include: THE BAADER- MEINHOF COMPLEX (DER BADDER- MEINHOF KOMPLEX); EVERLASTING MOMENTS (MARIA LARSSONS EVIGA ÖGONBLICK); GOMORRAH (GOMORRA); I’VE LOVED YOU SO LONG (IL Y A LONGTEMPS QUE JE T’AIME); and WALTZ WITH BASHIR.
