Free Outdoor Art Market & Day of Music in Sopchoppy First Saturday of Each Month Sopchoppy’s Eclectic Music & Art Forum~~”The Frog and The Hummingbird Co & Butterfield’s Roadhouse” is hosting on yet another one of their free community affairs
Salli Squitieri and Gabriel Butterfield proprietors of Sopchoppy’s award winning Eclectic Music & Art forum are currently working on an idea they have implemented in many communities.
From day one of their arrival to Sopchoppy they have hoped to expand their venue’s featured art shows into a Free Community Art Market.
The First Free Sopchoppy Art Market & Day of Music was held on Saturday June 4th and will repeat the first Saturday of each month outside of The Frog and The Hummingbird Co & Butterfield’s Roadhouse along Municipal Ave and Rose St.
“The Frog and The Hummingbird Co & Butterfield’s Roadhouse” is a venue that directly supports all art and is helping to support live music.
These events are their way of making a small positive contribution to this rural community and to the region.
Salli and Gabriel expressed that it is during these economic challenging times that the arts are often the first to suffer. Yet it is most often the musicians and artists who are among the first to step up and donate their work and services for an array of good causes.
They hope that everyone will come out and help support the evolution of this fun and free event.
There will be vendors exhibiting and smokin’ performances and jams going on throughout the day from 10 am to 5 pm!
Each artist will be providing a prize for the free drawings and also The Frog and Hummingbird Co & Butterfield’s Roadhouse Drawing entries will be at five locations (The Frog and The Hummingbird Co, Backwoods Bistro, Sopchoppy Grocery Store, Lisa’s Timeless Treasures, & Sopchoppy Hardware) giving everyone five chances to win.
