Healthy Eating and Nutrition for Pregnant & Nursing Women

Eating healthy, nutritious foods during pregnancy is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your baby. After all, your baby's only source of nutrition is from the food you eat. Come attend a free workshop taught by a prenatal dietitian and learn what the "Top 10 Power Foods" are that will support your baby's growth and development. You will learn about the reasons for choosing organic foods, the nutrients that need your special attention, facts about fish and seafood, and what foods to avoid during pregnancy. You will even be provided some easy and delicious recipes to help you get started on a healthy, wholesome, and natural motherhood.

All participants will receive essential information on pregnancy nutrition. You will also receive wonderful recipes + recipe tin, a reusable shopping bag, and sample delicious food prepared by Whole Foods’ chef.

The class is FREE and is held at Whole Foods in Redwood City. (1250 Jefferson Avenue, Redwood City (at the corner of El Camino & Jefferson Avenue)
