Free Night of Theater October 2, 2007

Theatre Bay Area kicks off its Free Night of Theatre 2007 media launch event in San Francisco’s Union Square at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, October 2, 2007. The event will feature live theatrical performances along with remarks regarding the campaign. Free Night of Theatre tickets may be reserved at the TIX booth in Union Square at 10:00am and on the tixbayarea.com website beginning at 6:00 PM.
Over 120 Bay Area not-for-profit theatre companies are offering over 145 performances, up from the 110 companies that participated last year. These free performances run on or around October 18. Bay Area companies include many of the region’s leading theatre producers, such as American Conservatory Theater, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, San Jose Repertory Theatre, TheatreWorks, Magic Theatre and California Shakespeare Theater, along with a host of smaller companies.
