Third Practice celebrates its 11th year of bringing new
electroacoustic music and experimental video to Richmond audiences. This year ’s festival will feature UR’s ensemble-inresidence eighth blackbird performing works by giants of the electroacoustic tradition alongside work of the brightest young composers. Third Practice will also present cutting-edge work for computers, acoustic instruments, video projection, and surround sound by composers from around the United States, Asia, and Europe.
