Are you concerned that you may be experiencing memory loss and wonder if the changes are normal? Have you had your memory tested recently?

Join Banner Alzheimer’s Institute on Friday, November 16, 2012. We will be celebrating this National Day of awareness with FREE memory screenings.

“Memory screening is an opportunity to learn how you are doing and get information about lifestyle factors that can help you have the healthiest brain possible,” said Jan Dougherty, Banner Alzheimer’s Institute Family and Community Services Director. “Like cancer, early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia leads to better treatment options.”

Banner Alzheimer’s Institute is conducting the memory screenings in collaboration with the ASU College of Nursing & Healthcare Innovation.

Participants will receive a confidential 20-minute memory screening, obtain tips on brain health and find information about where to get help with memory symptoms or concerns. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
