Professor Robbins is an author and leading historian in Western America who has retired from teaching History at Oregon State University. In 1997, he was given the title of “Distinguished Professor” by OSU in recognition of his contributions to the field of History.
His books include Colony and Empire (1994) and Oregon: This Storied Land (2005). He is currently working on a biography of Monroe Sweetland.
