Free Jazz Concert The Ed Spargo Band October 22, 2008

For the past 20 or more years, bassist Ed Spargo has planted firm roots in the Boston area.
1998s Invisible Man announced his skill as a composer. Versatile and exploratory, the CD traveled from jazz to pop to R&B to blues. His latest CD, Playroom, was the Boston Globe's "Pick of the Week" in March 2007.
Malden Public Library, located at 36 Salem St., will present a Fall 2008 Jazz Concert Series. All concerts are held Wednesdays, 7-8 p.m., in the Ryder Art Gallery.
