Computer chips are everywhere--powering the Internet, controlling cars, automating factories, enhancing cell phones, and enriching home entertainment. A new class at the Intel Museum helps children age 7 and up learn about computer chip science while making a musical holiday card!
The class lasts about 45 minutes, and is offered 5 times per day on Saturday, December 16th and December 23rd:
10:30 am - 11:15 am
11:30 am - 12:15 pm
1:30 pm - 2:15 pm
2:30 pm - 3:15 pm
3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
Space is limited and reservations are required. Email museum@intel.com to register (child's name, parents name, class time, age and telephone number) or call 408-765-0503.
An adult who remains in the museum throughout the class must accompany all participants.
Experience the exciting world of silicon technology as you explore more than 30 interactive exhibits at the Intel Museum in Santa Clara, Calif. Learn how silicon is at the heart of an ever expanding, increasingly connected digital world, changing the way people work, learn, play, and communicate. You can take a self-guided tour and enhance it by using an audio tour unit. The audio tours are available in English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish, and are free of charge.
