FREE - Grand Finale for Baila! Thursdays at Pearl

BB of Salsa Reno and Pearl Champagne Lounge invite you to the Grand Finale of Baila! Thursdays at Pearl on May 28th. As a way of saying thank you for all the good times, Pearl and BB of Salsa Reno are hosting a FREE LIVE SALSA ORCHESTRA. In addition, they’re making it a Cuban style white party (wear your favorite white outfit). On top of that they’re going to put the bartenders into a head to head Mojito making contest.

WE'RE MOVING TO THE "THE BEACH"
The Thursday party will be moving down to the pool for the summer, starting June 4th, while Grand Sierra Resort does a remodel on the Pearl venue.

Baila! Thursdays at Pearl has set a benchmark for all future salsa style parties in Reno. BB of Salsa Reno has put together a party that is high class and welcoming to all. Doors open at 7 pm. From 7:30 to 9 pm, BB of Salsa Reno will be teaching a salsa dance lesson that will include Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. DJ Zorro will kick off the night with a nice mix of Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue and Bachata. Then, at 9:30 pm, Orquesta Universal will light up the night. The party is FREE and will go until about 2 am.

CUBAN STYLE WHITE PARTY
Be sure to put on your favorite white outfit for the party because this will be a Cuban style white party. They will be holding a best dressed contest and BB of Salsa Reno will be giving away prizes for the best dressed male and female.

MOJITO CONTEST
For only $25 you can purchase a card worth 4 Mojitos for the Mojito making contest. You will be able to get a Mojito from each of the 4 bartenders. When you finish you will cast your ballot for who you think makes the best Mojito at Pearl. A Mojito is a tasty summer drink from Cuba made with rum, mint, sugar, lime, and soda water. A perfect drink for listening to a live salsa orchestra.

Who is BB of Salsa Reno?
Originally from Los Angeles, BB of Salsa Reno has been dancing Salsa for over 10 years and teaching since 2002. He regularly studies salsa with top salsa dance instructors from around the world. His current salsa teachers are John and Liz of Salsamania in Oakland, CA, ranked sixth in the world and he is endorsed to teach Bachata by Rodney “Rodchata” Aquino, the most respected Bachata instructor in the Bay area. Recently BB of Salsa Reno was honored by Salsagang.com for his outstanding contributions to the salsa industry in the Reno/Truckee area and he was named “best salsa instructor in town” by Reno Magazine in January 2009. He teaches a comprehensive salsa dance program at the Starlite Dance Center in Reno. BB of Salsa Reno is the host and resident instructor for Baila! Thursdays at the Pearl Champagne Lounge in Grand Sierra Resort and Hot Salsa Fridays at UNR. With over 120 active students currently enrolled in weekly salsa lessons in the Reno area, he feels confident you’re learning a dance with a strong following that’s embraced by anyone that has heard about this exotic blend of Afro-Cuban-Caribbean music that is globally recognized as “Salsa.”
