The Sam and Irene Black School of Business at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, is offering free test-preparation workshops to prospective MBA students.
The Graduate Management Admissions Test, or GMAT, is an admission requirement for most Masters of Business Administration degree programs accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business International, including Penn State Behrend’s MBA. The GMAT is a standardized test administered by The Graduate Management Admission Council that assesses MBA applicants’ quantitative, verbal and analytical writing skills.
The Black School of Business will offer two workshop sessions that review the GMAT’s quantitative and verbal materials and GMAT test-taking strategies. The workshops will meet Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m. A five-week session will begin on Monday, Jan. 31, and six-week session will start on Monday, March 14.
The workshops are free, but registration is required. Prospective MBA students can sign up for either session by contacting Ann Burbules, graduate admissions counselor, at 814-898-7255 or amb29@psu.edu, or by visiting behrend.psu.edu/mymba.
