Virginia Credit Union encourages consumers to reduce the risk of identity theft by shredding old documents containing personal and financial information. Cintas Shredding, a document destruction company, will shred up to three grocery bags of paper per vehicle on a first-come, first-served basis. The public is invited.
During the shredding event, the credit union will collect non-perishable foods for the Central Virginia FoodBank.
