Mindfulness is a central practice in Buddhism. Nyingma Institute instructor Robin Caton will lead participants through mindfulness techniques and also discuss classic meditations on mindfulness of the body, feelings, mind, and objects.

All are welcome.

A note on this lecture:
Invisible, yet powerful, “mind” determines who we are and how we act. Its agents—our emotions, attitudes, and concepts—weave the fabric of experience. What is mind and from where does it derive its power? Can we reorient its often unconscious processes? Can we turn its power to goodness and benefit? We ask these and other questions this summer at the Nyingma Institute in a series of Sunday talks that approach mind from a practical, rather than a theoretical perspective.
